After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet our representative for delivery of car and briefing.

You can begin the tour with a visit to the Grand Mosque (Ladies fully covered with scarf and shorts not allowed for men) (except Friday) & the Bait Al Zubair Museum (Except Friday) is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the Fish Market. 1600 hrs. proceed for a photo stop of the magnificent Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. Visit the colorful Muttrah Souq.

After breakfast at your hotel, it is time to set off and leave the city behind you and head out for an exciting journey through the mountains. Start the off-road crossing of Wadi Bani Awf (3 hours), a spectacular mountain road. You will see small villages on the way. Stop to admire the panoramic view of Snake Canyon. Continue to Bilad Sayt, a fairytale-like village typical of the Arabian settlements of the past and one of the most picturesque villages in Oman. Visit of the village of Al Hamra, one of the best-preserved old towns in the country and the home of the Bait Al Safa living museum. Stroll in between the old abandoned buildings and mud houses. Visit the museum and learn about Omani traditions with men and women demonstrating ancient practices. Stop at the old village of Ghul to see the abandoned Persian ruins. Arrival at Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest point at 3,009m. It is truly an amazing sight at all times of the day. Enjoy the spectacular view of the “Grand Canyon”.

This morning you will depart after breakfast and stop at Wadi Nakhar, one of the most beautiful valleys in Oman. It is a very deep valley and consists of several branches. The valley is also a beautiful destination for mountaineering and hiking. Next, is Misfat Al Abriyeen. The village boasts amazing agricultural terraces, beautiful alleys, and old houses built on top of solid rocks. The old houses in Misfat Al Abriyeen are traditional mud houses with palm frond roofs and are unique in that they are built on solid rock foundations. Here you will also see traditional Omani irrigation channels (falaj system), where water is channeled from underground sources to support agriculture and domestic use. From here it’s a short drive to Jabrin Castle, one of the most intricately decorated and beautifully furnished castles in Oman. The structure reflects the fact that it is one of the few palaces not constructed in times of war, and was instead made with a focus of the beauty and furnished accordingly. With fine calligraphy etched in to the walls, beautiful hand painted ceilings, amazing hand carved door frames, decorative arches, and windows and balconies, this castle is one of the only castles in Oman still furnished according to the time it was originally constructed in. A visit to the Jabreen Castle is a delight for visitors looking to get a feel of ancient times.

We then head to the Nizwa hotel where we will stay for the night.

Pick up 8.30 a.m. Morning visit the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq. The Souq is a lively place and an ideal location to purchase handicrafts and souvenirs. Your Next stop will be Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most beautiful wadis. The wadi has clear deep blue water and counts among the few wadis of the Oman that hold water all year round. From the mountain springs, the water is led to the oasis where it sustains the typical date plams.Post Lunch you will travel to Wahiba Sands which is famous for its multicolored sand which varies from black to honey-golden and even to white. In the heart of the golden sand of Sharqiyah Desert nestled amongst stunning and ever-changing patterns of dunes

When leaving a sand desert, your next stop will be SUR. A lovely seaside city, Sur is one of the few Omani towns that is worth a visit. Its strategic position – a peninsula between the sea and a laguna – and its old white houses with beautiful doors add up to bring about a real touch of charm. The last traditional dhow building yard is located here – a must visit! As a fishing town, its fish souq is worth a look.

Then after, we drive you towards the spectacular Bimmah Sinkhole. This attraction is an impressive limestone crater, which has a green and blue water at the bottom.

Next you will head towards Wadi Arbyeen Arbeieen – one of the most amazing Oman wadis.

On sightseeing this Wadi, you will be delighted to find that it’s rocky face is surrounded by date trees and liberally populated with numerous lakes, waterfalls and deep pools of water.  

Then we proceed towards Muscat.

After amazing breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Muscat airport to catch flight to Khasab, the capital city of Musandam, city of fjord-like craggy inlets and surrounded by looming mountains.

Once you arrive at the Khasab Airport, you will depart for the tour with driver for half day mountain safari. Mountain Safari with our 4WD car to the Jebel Harim Mountains. The drive encompasses spectacular scenic routes through mountains and valleys, reaching a height of 1.784 m above sea level with attendant panoramic views. You will visit centuries old villages, the traditional Bait Al Qafl (old stone house), and the lush green natural park of Al Khalidiya with its many acacia trees. On the way back you can enjoy the fantastic view from the top of Khor Najid, one of the beautiful fjords in the Gulf of Oman.

Fruits, Water and soft drinks will be offered during the tour.

Full day cruise to the fjord (Khor) Khor Sham with our traditionally decorated wooden dhow in azure water. The majestic fjord is surrounded by spectacular mountains and small white sandy beaches. At the entrance of the fjord our guests have the possibility to enjoy dolphin watching. The dhow will anchor near Telegraph Island and Seebi Island where our guests can enjoy swimming in pristine water together with colorful fish. During the cruise we offer soft drinks, fresh fruits, tea & coffee and a warm lunch.

In the morning after breakfast, you will continue the journey to Salalah. You will be transfer to Khasab Airport to board a flight to Muscat and onward to Salalah. You will arrive at Muscat and take connecting flight to Salalah.

Once you arrive Salalah you will be transferred from Salalah Airport to the hotel of you choice in Salalah.
